Growing up in a household of 6 kids, cooking and family gatherings were the norm. During the holidays, our table had no less than 10 cakes, no less than 10 pies, and included other homemade desserts like peach cobbler and banana pudding, just to name a few.

From layered Coconut cakes to Sweet Potato pies, you name it, we had it! Our house was the “it” house where everyone would meet, eat, laugh and have a great time.

Veanie Moreland aka “Mama Cakes”, who is the mastermind behind Sweet Boxes Etc, is a southern cooker that had a vision one day, which was to share her joy of cooking and baking with others. With this vision, we want to be able to bring the same amount of joy, laughter, happiness, and quality family time to any social gathering, and into the homes of many.
